PROOFREADING
Proofreading is a precise process that requires an exceptional eye for detail and, importantly, the available time to absorb the text. Most people don't have this time. How often have you skimmed over something in a rush, just hoping it will be OK, only to find when you look at your document again later that the errors just jump off the page? Simple errors can turn into costly mistakes. The question is, can you afford not to use a proofreader?

You can be confident that by using Ultimate Proof's proofreading service, we will thoroughly check your text for any inaccuracies and inconsistencies. For documents supplied in Word (either 2003 or 2007), you will receive an amended version of your text, using track changes, and a 'final' version with the changes accepted. You retain full control of the completed document, as you will have visibility of the suggested changes, as well as the unmarked final version. For documents supplied in PDF, you will receive a marked-up version using Drawing Mark-ups so that amends are easily identifiable. Alternatively, we can mark-up hard copy proofs using British Standard proofreading symbols or an informal style of your choosing.

COPY-EDITING
Copy-editing ensures that your text is concise and clear. We will highlight any areas that need elaborating or removing. A fresh pair of eyes will help you to test the copy for readability and flow.

Copy-editing is not the same as proofreading; there are significant differences in the processes. Our copy-editing service, however, includes proofreading, so we will not charge you twice, unlike many of our competitors. Our editing experience includes, but is not limited to, fiction and non-fiction books, magazine articles, DVDs, research reports, e-courses, websites and translated copy.

COPYWRITING
Do you often know what you want to say but cannot quite put it down on paper? Ultimate Proof can write copy that engages, inspires, informs and enlightens the reader. If you have already drafted the text, we can apply our copywriting skills and quickly present you with a polished version that makes your text stand out.
