What types of text do you work on? 

We work on anything that includes words – from adverts with few words to lengthy manuals and reports. We have a proofreader or editor to cover most subject areas – please see our clients page for examples of who we work for.

How long does it take? 

Turnaround varies, depending on the amount of text and the service you require. We will email you to advise you of turnaround time or, if you’ve given us a deadline, confirmation that we can meet that date.

What formats do you work with?

Ideally the document should be provided in electronic format, using a word processing package such as Word, or a PDF. We work with all MS Office applications. We can also work in your website CMS to amend your site.

How much will it cost?

Each job is unique, but our pricing is simple with one fixed fee. All quotes are subject to VAT. Please send us your word count or job brief (ideally with a sample), and we’ll come back to you quickly with a full quotation. We can offer preferential rates for repeat business; however, we will always work to the highest standard rather than undersell our services.

How can I pay?

We accept payments via most debit and credit cards, by BACS or online bank transfer. New clients are asked to pay a deposit. All clients are invoiced on completion of the work, our terms are 30 days (deposits may be required).

Is your work confidential? 

Any work sent to us is treated in the strictest confidence. We only share files with the people working on the project and delete any files after we have sent them. We are happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement with you if required and we are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
