What I did

I received an email from the client who contacted me after seeing my website. We met on Teams for a half-hour chat through the project, as it was a particularly tight deadline at each stage and there were a number of people involved in commenting on the file.

I received the first designed proof in PDF and decided, due to the complexity of the job, to assign the course section to another proofreader to ensure maximum focus on our respective sections. This meant the client received two proofreaders and was able to get the prospectus completed ahead of time.

The file received several amends rounds and each stage needed cross-checking against various marked-up versions as well as our own proofreading. We proofread the document to the final pre-print stage (amounting to 5 rounds of proofs). At the final proof stage, I checked to ensure it tied together as one, easy-to-use document.
